According to sources across the pond, the next-generation Mercedes-Benz is going to be taking a page out of the Toyota/Lexus guidebook. It's name? How To Make Your Cars All Hybrids.

This isn't the first time we heard about Mercedes-Benz contemplating making a model line up all hybrid, with exception of AMG models. It was nearly a year ago today that we heard word that Mercedes was thinking about making the next-generation S-Class all hybrids.

Now we're hearing word about the same thing except it deals with the upcoming C-Class.

Hmm, any thoughts on that, Spies? If these rumors are true it seems that Benz will be the next Toyota!

The next-generation Mercedes C-class will have hybrid technology on virtually every model in an attempt to drive average fuel consumption down to supermini levels, say company sources.

Expected to be launched in late 2013, the new C-class family is being developed to demanding CO2 targets...
