So, you've heard about the Cadillac ATS for quite some time now and I've been saying that this car should have the Germans a little concerned. Now you're going to get a look at it for the FIRST time with what appears to be its prototype body.
The last time there was a shot of the ATS it looked like it was riding on the ATS chassis; however, the body appeared to be a CTS that was too big for the underpinnings.
Now that we saw that comparison, it's easily going to be several inches shorter than the CTS. BUT, more importantly:
What does the Cadillac ATS have to do in order to rival the competition? Think: the ATS is slated to go toe-to-toe with entry-level premium vehicles like the BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4 and Lexus IS.
A prototype version of Cadillac’s upcoming BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class rival, dubbed the ATS, has been caught on video during road testing. Though still heavily camouflaged, it appears that the Detroit firm’s compact, rear-wheel drive sports sedan will continue with Cadillac’s Art and Science design language...
