As we've mentioned previously, there is something very special about Ralph Lauren's car collection. I can't recall where I heard it, but I'll paraphrase a great saying I once heard. It went something like this:

While there are collectors who have 10, $10 bills, Ralph has 10 $100s.

His collection is that exceptional.

Further proving that is the exhibit in France featuring some of his magnificent purchases. Ranging from classic Bugattis to some of his rarest Ferraris, Lauren's exhibit at Paris' Musée des Arts Décoratifs is going to be a stunner.

If you are in Paris from April 28 to August 28, I highly recommend making a pit stop at the museum and getting a look at some automotive icons.


From the 28th of April, a selection of Ralph Lauren's most prestigious sports cars from the 1930s to the present day is on show for the first time in Europe at Paris' Musée des Arts Décoratifs. 17 outstanding cars, chosen by the curator Rodolphe Rapetti, outline the main phases of European automobile history. With this collection, Ralph Lauren shows that the automobile is a major art form created by the industry's biggest names: Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Porsche and of course, Ferrari, the high point of this unique collection....
