Dear SPIES: The 2012 BMW 650i Coupe M Sport Package, SPIED and ORDERED

Here's an interesting bit of information that recently came out way concerning the 2012 BMW 6-Series.

Thanks to an e-mail tipster and a recent forum post, it's pretty clear that an M Sport Package will be available in the 6-Series in no time.

Our friend Harvey e-mailed saying that he has placed an order for one in Houston, meanwhile,  it appears a LeMans Blue, kitted-up 6'er has been spotted in northern New Jersey -- home to BMW North America's headquarters.

I grew up a stone's throw away from the HQ, which has always meant pre-production vehicles are found wandering the nearby villages and city centers. This happened to be one of them.

Just to let you know that the 650i Coupe with a M Sport Package is real.  I just ordered one in Houston.  You have a choice of 19 or 20" wheels plus an alcantra headliner, aerodynamics package, LED fog lights, M steering wheel and increased top speed limiter.

No prices yet, but my guess will be similar to to the 7 series.  You can now order the coupe.  I was told July build for August delivery.  More color options for coupe including Imola Red, Carbon Black and Mineral White. Since some of the new colors are "M" colors, they require the M Sport Pkg.
