Hot rumor: 2005 BMW 5-series engines being upgraded?

The latest hot rumor coming out of Munich, is that BMW is developing two new engines, that will debut either on the 2005 3-series, 7-series or the 2005 5-series. Sources tell us, the low end engine will hover around 275HP and the high ends HP, will be in the high 300's.
