As MINI continues to expand its lineup with the Countryman, Coupe and Roadster, we're seeing the marque take on new roles we never thought would happen.
For example, did we think MINI would take the Cooper and make it sportier and more compact? No, but it seems like a pretty cool idea. Being 6'8, I am just hoping that there will be enough room that allows me to enjoy the car.
If MINI is able to keep the front interior room the same, it's likely we'll have a winner on our hands.
The new Mini Roadster isn’t expected to reach showrooms before late next year, but Carscoop reader Klaus M. has spotted a prototype model in a swirly camouflage at a roundabout near Oxford in South East England. Caught by surprise, Klaus managed to shoot a single photo of the 2012 Mini Roadster but promised to keep an eye open and send us more photos in the future...
