AC Schnitzer is one of the "known" BMW aftermarket tuners. For years the brand has been fixing up Bimmers with the intention of making them faster, more aggressive looking and more precise than the OEM product.
Usually this means an upgraded set of wheels and tires, more power and whatever else AC Schnitzer can come up with. The 2011 BMW 1M is no exception, even if its going to be built in limited quantities.
According to a lucky spotter, a 1M with serious Schnitzer mods was caught filling up its tank. Details remain scarce but the spy noted that the vehicle had 20 inch wheels and a new brake kit. In addition, note the exhaust has been modified.
BMWBlog says that since the motor is related to the Z4 sDrive35iS, we can expect the 1M to pump out around 380 horsepower while receiving a bump in torque.

...Details are not available at the moment, but the photos reveal the Type V 20 inch wheels which implicitly leads us to believe that the 1M by AC Schnitzer has a built-in adjustable suspension. The 1M is also running on Continental tires in size 235/35 R 20 for front and 295/25 R 20 at the rear...
