If you're a Volkswagen fan, likely at some point you were infatuated with the Golf. Sure it may be considered underpowered, but it's a fun car to drive while having some utility and providing some fuel economy. It's a solid overall car.
And its one of VW's strongest sellers, so with the MKVI going out of style soon, the MKVII has to outdo its elder.
That means VW is hard at work, getting ready to up the ante. If what we're reading is true, it looks like the Germans will be well on their way. Rumors include:
- A 100 mpg hybrid
- An all-electric Golf
- A 300 hp flagship
- Supercharged models
- Turbocharged models
Essentially, just imagine anything and it seems like it's possible. That either means two things:
1) VW is broadening its horizons
2) These rumors are pure speculation
With that said, what would YOU like to see VW do for the next-gen Golf?
Do you want a less expensive-feeling interior but more space? More power? More premium options?
