For as long as I can remember auto companies have been making bold claims.
But until Hyundai has done what has seemed like impossible it's next to impossible to recall anyone else actually ACCOMPLISHING their promises.
At least at that level.
Now Lincoln is claiming that they will build the ultimate luxury car.
One that drives as good as a BMW, with the luxury appointments of a Lexus.
Here is the exact quote from the WSJ:
"“Lincoln will give [customers] opportunities to tell a story about what is unique in their vehicle,” said Derrick Kuzak, Ford’s head of global product development, in an interview. “You think of BMW as engaging to drive; you can think of Lexus as refined. Bring them together and it is a new experience no customer has ever had.”
On the surface it sounds like that would be at the 'Miracle on Ice' level of accomplishment.
But so did Hyundai's claims and look where they are now and HOW FAST they did it.
So what are your thoughts.
Is this POSSIBLE or are the whacked?
And if you think it is, how far away are these cars?
