VIDEO: THIS Is What Happens When You Strap A Pair Of Turbos To A W12 VW Touareg

Being from an Eastern European descent, amongst other things, I know just how wacky we can get. And that's when we're normal.

Given idle hands, it's only a matter of time before we start concocting ridiculous ideas and then we actually make reality of them. It appears that's exactly what happened to this owner of a Volkswagen Touareg.

Now, here's where things get tricky: We pretty much have no information here so we're going to either have to do some guess work or one of YOU can translate some Russian for us.

To keep it brief, a Touareg owner has a W12 with a twin-turbo setup. Considering the U.S. never received the W12 Touareg, I can't tell if this is the stock W12 Touareg or if this guy was batty enough to drop a W12, from the Bentley Continental or VW Phaeton, into the Touareg. I'll assume it's a stock W12 Touareg.

Then the mods come in.

Although the turbos are wild, it really gets interesting with what VWVortex is calling "Smart AWD," that adjusts "based on wheel speed difference, and can be toggled to be RWD-only."
