BMWNA and owner of $12.5M BMW dealership are upset that the Spies are leaking info, to customers!
What's your opinion?
This email came in to us soon after we mentioned we were looking forward to testing the 2004 5-series in our newsletter...It looks like he's mad at us for teaching you how to get a fair deal on a car and not buy an obsolete product. What do you think?

Trust me, you won't get a sniff of the five series as you suggest. I have just returned from a high level meeting with BMW brass and although you may take pride in knowing that 30 minutes was spent warning dealers and their employees about furnishing you with inside info we (dealers, and BMW) have absolutely no use for the crap you publish in your site. I for one look at your site for laughs and not concrete data. Most of us Dealers and others directly associated with the sale and service of new automobiles do so as well. As I have stated in prior emails you need to make the investment, say 10-20 million for a BMW franchise and try and make an honest go of it. The proliferation of rumors, supposed inside intelligence, etc., does a disservice not a service to your readers. Spy photos are one thing publishing material that is detrimental to those who have the investment to run an honest business is another. Believe me when I tell you the manufactures and those that represent them will not stand idly by and let organizations such as yourself continue to publish what is considered confidential data to those that sit on the fence and offer nothing but harsh criticism. By the way if you have a spare 12.5 mill lets talk I am ready to retire.
We would love to get your email responses to this letter...what would you say to him if you could email him directly? Send your response to rumors@autospies.com
