Well, when you consider that Lamborghini has already created the Performante special edition, this can't be too much of a stretch, right?
According to our friends at Teamspeed, the latest Gallardo is said to take notes from the two-wheel drive 550-2 Valentino Balboni. This means it will have a standard gearbox and a rear-wheel drive set up. Folks interested in this product can expect a more involving and demanding drive compared to the "regular" Gallardo.
Essentially if you've been looking for a Lamborghini that still has that purity pumping through its veins, this would be it everyone.
Lamborghini has confirmed that it will be producing its gorgeous Gallardo 550-2 in Spyder guise.
Not much has been revealed as yet, except it will hit the streets next year, and, Teamspeed is told that it will be "more demanding."
Also touted is the fact it will be a "more emotional and gratifying drive", and being based on the brilliant rear-wheel-drive coupe version, doesn't seem all that difficult to believe.
