Hot rumor: Next generation BMW X5
Finally!
Sources tell the Spies, that BMW is planning to follow the footsteps of Mercedes-Benz, with the next generation X5.
We're told that BMW will follow MB and have a short and long wheelbase version of the X5, to serve the needs of customers abandoning the Roundel in favor of XC90's, MDX's etc., with third seat options.
Rumor has it, that BMW will use the name X5i and X5Li, to differentiate the two versions.
Look for a late 05' introduction.
