As we've seen with the new Range Rover Evoque, Jaguar Land Rover is shifting its focus to the greener side. Not only has it produced extreme concepts like the C-X75, but it has also brought to market the six-cylinder Evoque.
In addition to the that, Jaguar has a six-cylinder XJ model for the Chinese market.
With that said, word on the street suggests that Range Rover will be introducing an all-new Sport with a V6 powerplant.
This heavily modified engineering prototype is thought to be a Range Rover Sport testbed for the upcoming petrol V6 engine. This motor, first previewed in supercharged form in the Jaguar CX-16 concept, is crucial to sales success outside Europe, especially in China which puts significant taxes on the import of V8-engined cars.
