Here’s to creative recycling! As part of its F1 Team Collection, Renault has cooked up this backgammon set perfect for the well-heeled pistonhead’s parlor. What’s the big draw? It’s made up of Renault Formula One racecar bits. Composed of carbon fiber, sterling silver, leather and Permaglass, the nearly $26,000 game set uses pieces of the chassis’ underfloor.
In addition to the aforementioned backgammon, Renault also offers things like coasters made from titanium wheel speed sensors and zebrano wood, a unique ‘exhaust lamp’ assembled from heat-treated Inconel (a nickel-chromium-iron alloy), stainless steel, carbon fiber, and leather.
