Whether you believe the Nissan GT-R is good car or not, you can't deny the ridiculous amount of engineering that went into the product. It's a supercar slayer.
So when auto enthusiasts around the globe saw some lads in Europe tearing up a Juke to insert the GT-R's innards, I think it's safe to say everyone was shocked, surprised and completely riveted.
- Is it merely going to be a concept/show car that doesn't even turn over?
- Oh-kay, so if it runs it'll never hit the track right?
- Alright, so if it runs around the track will anyone aside from Nissan's engineers ever drive the thing?
- They're letting journalists behind the wheel, Nissan must be absolutely bonkers!
- Alright, we know the GT-R is capable but this track set up doesn't give the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Lamborghini Gallardo and Ferrari 458 Italia a fair crack at it.
The above thoughts were in my head as the series of events unfolded.
But who cares what I think, let's get to the real meat and potatoes here. Auto Express decided to put both the Juke-R and GT-R on a track and see how they fair out.
