News reports from China are humming with some interesting -- but not surprising -- news.

Apparently a couple of ham-fisted automotive journalists were on the track at the Zhuhai International Circuit when an Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG "Gullwing," got into a collision with a C63 AMG.

If I were a betting man, I'd guess that Mercedes was hosting some sort of AMG Performance Academy in the Far East, these two chaps were invited and bit the big one. According to reports, the driver of the SLS got onto the brakes hard, "coming to a stop before the corner," and the driver of the C63 came in too hot resulting in an AMG kiss -- not the kind you'd like.

Thankfully, no one at the scene was injured.

But if the driver of the SLS really stopped before a turn, why the hell was he/she on the track on the first place?
