While most celebrities in Hollywood like to play or be cast in the hero role, few actually get the chance to live it out. Well, this past week a certain actor living in his Malibu pad sprang to action when a teenager had some unfortunate luck.

Otherwise known as McDreamy, Patrick Dempsey is a pretty rad guy. I am solely basing this off of the fact he has been spotted driving a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and that he actually races legitimately.

He proved it even further after rescuing a 17-year-old boy who had crashed and somehow flipped his Ford Mustang. Dempsey was on the scene with a crowbar in hand. He pulled out the boy, which was already a good deed in itself; however, he also outdid himself by contacting the boy's mother and keeping her calm in this stressful situation.

Thankfully, the driver and his passenger were relatively "OK" with the exception of the driver's concussion and "stretched optic nerve."

That said, we tip our hat to you McDreamy. Well played.
