One supercar that's had a long shelf life is the Lamborghini Gallardo. Known for its barky, V10 powerplant and being one of the first bulls with an Audi influence, folks were concerned if it would either:

1) Dilute the brand
2) Lose that Italian flair, which makes this exotic marque SO unique

But, if I am not mistaken, it's been the BEST selling product out of S'ant Agata. And throughout the years it has really shined with its special editions. THINK: Superleggera, Valentino Balboni, Blancpain Edition and now the Super Trofeo Stradale.
