Bimmerfest East 2012: Three Letters That Made A BIG Impact At Bimmerfest 2012 -- BBS

One of the world's leading wheel manufacturers is BBS. And the brand  made a gigantic impact on BMW products when it became closely associated with the marque in the 1970s and 1980s.

That period of time can essentially be defined by the infamous cross-spoke alloy wheels that really made BMWs of the era "pop."

Now though you can find a complete range of BMW products sporting these cross-spoke, studly wheels.

Though -- personally -- I happen to think the newer BBS FI, which were seen first on the Ferrari 599 GTO, are some of the most beautiful set of wheels BBS has made in quite some time. While I love the three-piece cross-spokes, the FIs just looks fabulous when paired with a big brake kit.

Perhaps Bimmerfest should consider renaming next year's event "BBSfest." ;)
