Now that the BMW M5 and M6 are old news -- and having some trouble in some reviews -- it's time to turn our focus to a proper M car. While some folks would argue that the M5 and M6 are legends some would disagree.

But they're legendary trajectory seems to be fading much in the way in the same way Elvis' did. Old, fat and "lost it." Even kings can fall.

During this period some intriguing videos have seen the light of day. The latest and greatest shows the next-gen M3 at the Nurburgring getting a high-speed workout. While we've seen it on the 'Ring, we haven't heard it so clear, loud and, frankly, throaty.

The force is strong with this one, Spies.
