For the Spies who know me well, one vehicle that I've been enthralled by over the years is the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, otherwise know as the G-Wagon or by its real name "Gelandewagen."
Think of it as Germany's Hummer.
It's undoubtedly one of the most utilitarian vehicles in its stripped, military trim; however, you certainly can load it up with options, leather and wood. Poof! Suddenly it's a SoCal and New York City socialite's dream. Though I've driven it and I haven't been impressed, I have to say there's some mystique to it because everytime I see one it's always an event.
Now, for the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show set to happen in the next couple of weeks, Mercedes-Benz has prepared something a bit special for what's considered the "green" show. No, not that kinda "green."
That, my friends, would be the Ener-G-Force concept, which is obviously a loose interpretation of what the G-Class could look like in 2025.
But this wouldn't be AutoSpies if we didn't wonder and were a bit curious -- How does the Ener-G-Force compared to another modern-day, badass vehicle? Enter the Land Rover Defender Concept, which was unveiled in 2011.
That said, WHICH future, all-terrain vehicle do YOU think is the king of being a badass?
