You know that saying, "everything in moderation is good"? Well, more people should probably take that into consideration when adding things to their car. I know this after taking a look at some user submitted photographs.

Spotted in what appears to be someone's local mini mall, is a Porsche 911 (996). Already one strike against it is the fact it's the 996 generation, which is the "red-headed stepchild" of 911s. With its "fried egg" headlights, one of the poorest interiors — ever — and being the first water-cooled 911, it was a tough go for this Porsche.

But then this owner really took it to the next level. Sporting what appears to be a TechArt body kit, in addition to some pieces of the Porsche GT3 aero kit, it's an ensemble of parts. Then there's the whole black wrapped hood thing that's sort of an homage to the 911 (997) GT2 RS. It's when you get to its hind quarters though that you really start to say "WTF?"

That's because this specific 911 is sporting the ugliest taillights of all time. And, yes, I've seen some pretty bad examples. These are the tops though.

What say you? Can this vehicle be SAVED or is it a LOST CAUSE?
