One of the bigger unveils at the 2013 New York Auto Show is undoubtedly the 2014 Toyota Highlander. Now I know that doesn't sound all that exciting as it's the pick of most soccer moms and dads steering clear of the minivan move, but hear me out:
1) It's a volume product
2) This rendering gives us SOME hope that it could be...edgy
There is, of course, one problem. Sketches never look like the real deal. Wheels are oversized, wheel gap is non existent and there is quite a bit of exaggeration when it comes to proportions.
Thanks to our friend at BurlappCars though, you get to see what exactly Toyota has in store for the 2013 New York Auto Show before it lifts the covers on the 2014 Highlander.
Cross your fingers. I mean, remember, last year we were shocked at how cool the Avalon became. Maybe this is the follow up?
The pic above show quite an optimistic rendering of the new Toyota.
Still, it might turn out to look pretty good. These are after all, family cars.
The second picture is the real thing, covered up.
