Though we think that we one of the first authorities to bring you the very first shots of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz C-Class Convertible, it appears others are starting to catch on.
Coming from across the Atlantic are the latest shots of Mercedes-Benz's next-gen C-Class Convertible. While there's been a couple of "pops" of the standard sedan, I am pretty sure we've seen more of the convertible than anything else yet.
Still sporting a hardtop, we ultimately think that it is just a camouflage covering over a cloth top. Though the smaller rides like the SLK-Class and SL-Class have folding metal roofs, we think a hard-top would be just too much for the C.
The new two-door convertible has been spied undergoing initial testing in prototype guise at the German car maker’s R&D facilities in Stuttgart.
It is scheduled to go on sale in the UK in mid-2015, priced from about £35,000. That’s a year after the new, fifth-generation C-class saloon is due to arrive in showrooms.
