It's been a couple of weeks since the latest Porsche 911 (991) Turbo spy photos have hit the 'net.

But these are really good. Essentially, it's game over. The jig is up after these shots.

The specific car caught roaming Stuttgart is a dark blue — one of my favorite colors for a Porsche — which sort of hides a bit of the details but we think you'll get a great feel for the Turbo after this.

Though there isn't a clear shot of the front facade, from what little I can see it actually doesn't look very changed over the current Carrera 2 S. There may be a slight aerodynamic change to account for the higher speeds but it's not readily apparent to me. What I do notice are the black side skirts on this model, which extend into the rear valence.

It's very difficult to make out what exactly Porsche is trying to do with the HUGE side air intake. It appears that they have that creative, 997 camouflage graphic covering the slot. BUT now you can see the lines. If I were a wager an educated guess I think its just going to be a huge vent a la the 959 and 993 Turbo S. Hopefully it won't have that slat like the 996 and 997.

Around the back appears to be a fixed "whale tail." Word so far has hinted it will extend upwards at higher speeds. Note the additional venting behind the rear wheels and quad-tipped, squared off exhaust.

A very tidy look, indeed.
