I know, I know. I've really piled on the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class content.
Yes, I know you know that it will be the all-new luxury benchmark. And yes it is a significant status symbol across the globe. And yes, it has that perfume pumping smell thingymajig.
But I can't emphasize it enough that this is a watershed moment — as is every S-Class launch — for the auto biz.
The latest we have is a clip of the 2014 S-Class being spotted outside of its factory.
Being shot in a true spy fashion, through a chain-linked fence, the key to this clip is to take in the various S-Classes — sporting minimal camo — colors, trim levels and wheel options. With exception of the ridiculous camo tape, these look like they're ready to be shipped and sold to ready and willing customers.
I am going to take a complete shot in the dark but I'd wager this is one of the first batches of press vehicles and marketing vehicles that will make their way across the globe and for the vehicle's big May 15 event.
Not impressed by this clip. Well, then just see the vehicle do the full monty here. The 2014 S-Class was leaked earlier this week.
In front of the Mercedes Benz factory I recorded a fleet of brand new Mercedes S-Class with barely any camouflage.
