In recent months we've been seeing quite a bit more of the next-gen MINI Cooper. And, for whatever reason, MINI is really keeping this car under wraps. Quite literally.

This car has been covered head-to-toe in camouflage for a very long time now and not much is being revealed. Though, upon closer inspection, it appears that not much is really going to change here. From what little I can see, it appears that through the swirly wrap there's some simple refinements on the design end and the vehicle may have grown overall.

Relative to other autos it will still remain small; however, now this will be yet another incremental increase in size for the British marque and its bread-and-butter product.

Our friends from across the pond insist that these new shots depict a Rocketman-inspired Cooper, but — frankly — I am just NOT seeing it. To further substantiate my case, check out the pictures from the Rocketman Concept's debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, below.


These are the latest spy pictures of the all-new Mk3 MINI Hatchback. The car was spotted testing in Germany, wrapped in a much more revealing version of the BMW Group’s trademark psychedelic camouflage.

This test mule shows that the design of the new MINI will be inspired by the Rocketman concept, revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011...
