We've been covering the transformation taking place at Jaguar Land Rover for the past 12 months and it's pretty easy to see, they're onto something. From the debut of the new XJ to the all-new Range Rover to the all-new F-Type, these two British companies are on a roll. Though it may be technically owned by Indian-based Tata I would argue these days are the best for JLR in recent memory.

With the Evoque, big-daddy Range and Sport, most of the brand's models are all-new. The two exceptions are the Freelander and the Discovery.

Now we're starting to see the first spy shots of the updated Discovery — the five — undergoing testing. Covered in dirty, as all Land Rovers should be, it looks pretty standard until you see the inside. Note the pop-up shifter dial, a la the Jaguar XF and XJ.

We'll see how far it goes soon enough.
