Recently snapped doing laps around the world famous Nurburgring has been a mysterious Lamborghini. Both times it has been a seemingly normal looking LP-700-4 "Aventador" but with some very slight modifications.

Most notably are the vehicle's center lock wheels that appear larger than the standard set up, which could help the brakes cool a bit easier as well as help in the handling department. In addition, it appears that the front valence receives a splitter or something of the ilk to help with the vehicle's aerodynamic prowess.

While there has yet to be any official comments about what this product could be, educated guesses are pointing to this being the Aventador SV. That would be a pretty sensible guess given that the SV has appeared in plenty of the brand's rangetopping products.

Though no credible information has been presented, another guess is the Aventador SV would receive some weight-saving pieces.


This Lamborghini Aventador test mule could be an early prototype for a more potent Super Veloce (SV) version of the all-wheel-drive V12 supercar.

The car was spotted pounding around the Nürburging on a recent industry test day. Lamborghini sources have not commented on the identity of the prototype, but officials have previously hinted there is more to come from what is already the most potent supercar in the company’s history, with the Aventador’s 6.5-litre V12 currently producing 690bhp...
