Undisguised prototype spied at the Nurburgring could be an updated R8 GT or a GT variant of the new R8 V10 Plus.
The mysterious Audi R8 GT spied at the Ring last year has reared its pretty ahead again, with these latest spy shots revealing the GT variant of its flagship model is next in line for a refresh as part of facelifting the R8 range for 2014. Some sources claim the model could in fact be a GT variant of the new R8 V10 Plus. Carrying the R8 GT Sport or R8 RS moniker, the limited edition model would compete with the SLS AMG Black Series. Distinguishing features include a front spoiler and winglets, enlarged side intakes, and an oversized rear wing.
