Though it was rumored to have been seen before, I believe these are the FIRST proper spy shots of the all-new Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG.
That's because for the first time we're seeing all of the appropriate AMG-specific hardware on this S-Class. Let's start from the bottom up.
Please note:
- Modified front valence with large intakes flanking the center
- Updated side skirts
- Large-diameter wheels and thinner rubber
- AMG-specific big brake kit — gold calipers signify carbon ceramics
- Squared-off, quad-tipped exhaust
- Blacked-out window trim (camouflage?)
These are all of the signs of a proper AMG vehicle.
In keeping with other AMGs of late, it is expected to come with a standard 536 horsepower and 563 if you tick the performance package box.
These latest spy shots show the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG, in a less disguised form than we've seen before, testing around the Nurburgring in Germany.
Like its predecessor, the S63 AMG is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 that is likely to offer a standard 536bhp, or 563bhp in combination with an optional performance package...
