McLaren's all-new range-topping vehicle, the P1 is rumored to lap the world famous Nurburgring in under seven minutes, it has over 900 horsepower and features some of the most cutting-edge technology the automotive industry has to date.

BUT, it can't turn over.

This obviously creates a bit of a problem, especially when you're at Lake Como's Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance. You know, the place where they have the big event for some seriously big players in the auto biz to show the highest-end and most desirable products?

You have to feel for the McLaren crew trying to troubleshoot the issue to no avail. Eventually, they gave up and pushed the supercar back into its respective trailer.

I'd guess this isn't evidence of a larger problem. It's not like it is in production yet. It is a bit embarassing though; however, it's not the first time I've seen this.

I remember a Bentley unveil in New York for the then all-new Mulsanne. The event started a bit late as the vehicle was pushed into the venue with Bentley's top brass looking at their shoes.

The 2013 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este was a good occasion to see and hopefully hear the McLaren P1. Unfortunately the car broke down during the show, the guys at McLaren tried to fix the problem and start the car but it didn't worked, so instead of using 916 horsepower, they had to use 3 humanpower (and half) to move the expensive hypercar on a truck.
