We've been waiting for the Porsche Macan quite some time now. For those of you who aren't familiar, this will be Porsche's entry-level luxury sport-utility vehicle.
Though I am a firm believer that pricing dictates most, I'd say it's pretty safe to speculate that this SUV will compete with the likes of the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLK and Range Rover Evoque.
In one of the most competitive classes that continues to grow, we're excited to see what Porsche has up its sleeve and is ready to bring to the table.
From what we can tell, it appears to be largely inspired many of the major Porsche design themes. It has a shrunken Cayenne exterior and Cayenne-like interior. The center console is raised a la Panamera.
No word on what will power this puppy yet. From the looks of it, I expect this make its long-awaited debut in Frankfurt.
