You know, I may not be a 12-year-old boy anymore but I am still fascinated with police vehicles. I can't explain why but there's a bit of fascination there. Something tells me we're not the only ones.
Not only have I observed the pageviews of the police-related stories we do, I also have seen plenty of coverage about police cruisers from a variety of publications. And now Jay Leno is getting into the act. But, in typical Leno fashion, he's taken it to another level.
That's because he arranged for a handful of police vehicles that were in the California Highway Patrol's fleet over the years to come by his shop. Here's what Leno brought in:
- 1966 Dodge Polara
- 1969 Dodge Polara
- 1970 Mercury Monterey
- 1982 Ford Mustang
- 2000 Ford Crown Victoria
- All-new Ford Explorer "Interceptor" package
Check out his full lowdown on all the police vehicles he had brought in below...
CHP Captain Matt Guthrie and former commissioner Spike Helmick stop by with five of the finest cop cars of the last 40 years - and the brand new Ford Explorer that will be hitting California highways soon.
