I am astonished to see how much love the BMW X5 has received. Though it's not a complete shock — it's one of the brand's biggest sellers — to me, I have to say there's been a tremendous amount of interest surrounding the all-new model.

Maybe it's because BMW didn't do enough? Maybe it didn't have to? Maybe we need another look?
