If someone were to ask me to pick a large luxury sedan I'd want in my driveway — four-door coupes excluded — I'd probably say the Audi A8. That's because it's luxurious without being ostentatious, it has some fantastic technology and it's interior is fantastic.
Sure, the MMI system is a bit wonky but whatever.
If you've been less than impressed since this generation's product was launched, there's some good news on the horizon. In line with the launch of the all-new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be a refresh of the A8 sedan.
That means some simple tweaks to the exterior design on its face and hind quarters will happen. That's no surprise. What will be interesting to see is how Audi updates its technology offerings.
I just hope they don't change their massaging seats. Simply put they're the best in the business with the multiple settings that actually feature different styles of "massage."
