The waiting game continues. Tick tock, tick, tock.

All waiting, no car makes 00R a lonely boy. All waiting, no car makes 00R a lonely boy. AlL waitiNG, no CAR makes 00R a lonely bOy. ALL wAiting, NO cAr makes 00R a lonely boy.

OK, snap out of it.

So we're still awaiting the BMW M4 to have its coming out party in concept fashion. Our best guess would be Frankfurt — we're crossing our fingers. The good news is simple though: more videos have emerged from the Nurburgring and they show the M4 working the track with a bit of tenacity.

And while the M4 certainly sounds similar to the M3 we've seen testing there are a couple small details we're seeing quite a bit clearer this time around.

Take, for instance, the front valence. For the first time it's pretty clear how it's going to look. BUT I think the more critical element people will want to see is the M's side vent.

That's because anyone with a set of good eyes will note the 4-Series vent treatment is poor, at best. While BMW's were known for their all-inclusive designs, the new look seems to be a bit of an afterthought.

Though the M is heavily camouflaged with the swirly stuff, it is apparent from some angles that there is a somewhat large side vent in the front fender about midway up. From my guesstimation, it appears the vent will be six to eight inches long.

Hopefully BMW integrates it a bit more smoothly than it's other iterations, as seen on the 4-Series and all-new 2014 X5.
