As of late it seems that two of BMW's hotly anticipated all-new products have been getting a bit of a workout in the desert. First we saw the all-new M3 sporting a camouflaged roof for the first time approximately a month ago and now we're seeing what appears to be the all-new X5M undergoing desert testing as well.
Considering how automakers need the most extreme environment(s) to test and benchmark their upcoming all-new vehicles, Nevada's "Death Valley" makes a perfect place to develop vehicles. Plus you know it must be fun to go into the city at night once a day's hard work is over.
From what we can tell of the blurry shots, it's pretty clear that this X5 has a rear diffuser element that is sporting a quad-tipped exhaust. Not to mention the large diameter wheel and tire setup poking out from the wheel wells.
