Out of the entire Ford lineup, there are two vehicles I really, really enjoy.
One of them is the all-new Ford Fusion. What a superb American product.
The second is the Ford Mustang. Since 2010 the vehicle has underwent a transformation to bring it up-to-date more than ever and it's — in my opinion — a pretty sweet ride now. It's not just a rental car you take down the Pacific Coast Highway anymore.
And now the Mustang is ready for an all-new look and set of technology. Though its looks are rumored to be pretty revolutionary for the next-gen product a BIG amount of the discussion is beginning to surface around its powertrains. That's because it appears Ford is going to be slotting in a forced induction four-cylinder.
Though it may sound sacrilegious, it wouldn't be the first time Ford equipped a 'Stang with a four banger. Keep in mind this would likely be derived from the Focus ST's motor and put out around 300 horsepower. This ain't your mom's Corolla, folks.
That said, this VERY short clip seems to be quite telling of the direction of Ford's upcoming Mustang.
Just listen to that "pssst."
