Bad news for single males driving around in expensive sports cars: women aren’t attracted to you.

A poll by UK website Motors found more than half the women surveyed are not attracted to men in expensive sports cars, assuming they are arrogant, while significantly more women are attracted to men who drive ‘green cars’ rather than gas-guzzlers.

Fifty-three per cent of women think male drivers of sports cars are arrogant, while 44 per cent said they are self-centred, and 38 per cent think they are a danger on the road.

Both women and men perceived drivers of eco-friendly cars like the Toyota Prius and Nissan Leaf as conscientious, intelligent and safe.

There is no mention of whether they are also perceived as smug and superior.
