Fresh update has emerged concerning passing of ownership of Germany's famous circuit Nurburgring. This time the name that has surfaced is that of ADAC, which is Europe's largest and the world's second largest automobile club. According to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport, ADAC has submitted a non binding offer for the purchase of Nurburgring from the Rhineland state government.
No further details about the offer being made has emerged yet except that ADAC is reportedly interested in acquiring just the circuit, Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit included and not the other facilities within the premises such as the "Ring Racer" roller coaster, the shopping mall or the museum.
