Though he may be best known in the States for his no nonsense critique of singers that put themselves into the running on American Idol, Simon Cowell is a car guy. At least, we think.
Recently it was made known Cowell sold his black on black Bugatti Veyron. Obviously this means the flat-top wielding Brit had some garage space to fill. Rather than go out and plop down some dollars on something like a McLaren P1, it seems that Cowell went in a completely different direction. He opted for an Eagle Speedster.
From what I understand the Speedster is based off an original E-Type chassis that's been completely revamped and becomes a retromod. Though it doesn't look much different from the original Jaguar, it actually is and in a BIG way.
To get a better idea, I've embedded a clip of Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear review of the Speedster below.
Jeremy Clarkson drives a vintage Jaguar e-type along a country road, and then tries an Eagle speedster, a new car which resembles the E-type. Great HD clip from Series 17 of Top Gear.
