Hyundai's sister company, Kia, has apparently decided that it's time to bring sexy back. While Hyundai is considered the more responsible choice if you're going the Korean route, we've noticed that Kia has definitely taken on a more European vibe — at least in the styling department — in recent years.
Now it sounds like the company will be dialing up sleeker designs and more engaging products.
The first vehicle to break the seal is said to be a four-door fastback. Although we've appreciated the Korean automaker's efforts of European design, perhaps this is the final push the company needs to really up the ante and continue nibbling market share from the likes of Honda and Toyota.
As of now there's no word on what sort of powerplant will move the GT car, but if we were betting on it I'd guess a forced induction four-cylinder good for 275 - 300 ponies. Just me, though.
Kia’s 2011 GT concept, a four-door V6 fastback, has got the production go-ahead and is likely to arrive towards the end of 2016.
