The timing of Porsche's revision of the 911 range comes at a peculiar time. With rumors swirling about the possibility of most 911s going the turbocharged route, we don't know what the hell is going on. That's because the company JUST launched the 911 Targa and GT3.

Would Porsche really just issue a revision that quick and those buyers, more or less, get hosed? Seems that way!

If what we're hearing about the all-new engine's power output is true, those buyers are REALLY going to be pissed. Speculation has pinned base 911s making 400-425 horsepower and the uprated versions making around 500 or so. Obviously, this would push up the Turbos power significantly.

Pictured here is the revised Turbo/Turbo S and from what we can tell it won't be massively revised; however, it will receive a new front valence, modified rear clip and possibly updated taillights to better distinguish the Mark II models for Porschephiles.

Personally, I think the car pictured is a Turbo S given the wheel/tire combination and carbon ceramics. Just me, though.
