HAPPY NEW YEAR! Killer Leak Of The First NAKED Photos Of The 2016 BMW 7-Series #NAIAS

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and the typically see the Germans imitated by a number of other brands.  But did BMW take a good thing and try to make it even better by taking a page from the Kia 900 playbook?

We certainly like to think not, but our friends over at Bimmerpost have stumbled on a 2016 7 Series prototype and it doesn't take much more than a passing more glance to see a bit of Kia 900 in there.   (Maybe its just us diping into the New Years festivities a bit too early.)

Lets hope this next gen 7 Series packs a serious punch to go with the new look so the Bimmer faithful can defend themselves in the school yard from those Kia bullies.

2016 BMW 7 Series fully exposed. Front end styling is a combination of the F30 and X5. Rear styling is clean and sleek with integrated exhaust outlets as seen on the test mules. Sporting optional laser headlights on this pre-production display model. LED lighting will be standard, with laser lighting as an optional upgrade.

The G11 next gen 7 series will be built on BMW's new module platform and feature the B family of engines. The chassis will borrow heavy from the BMW i3 and i8 for weight savings. The interior has the latest iDrive with a touch screen. The full details are expected to come out before the Geneva Auto show. In Geneva BMW will pull the wraps of this next gen 7 series officially.
