In any competitive market there's always opportunities for businesses to innovate and redefine the way things were. In the automotive industry, it just so happens that we see a lot of the moving parts due to auto shows and concepts that NEVER make it to reality.

It also doesn't hurt that many executives do spill the beans every once and a while.

In the premium, or luxury, space it seems that in the past 20 years there's been a lot of evolution. Reliability became a big deal, then it was sporty two-seater convertibles, and then the great sport-utility vehicle movement. Now, I'd argue that luxury pick-up trucks are the new "must have."

Hell, and we haven't even delved into the technology yet.
