It's no secret. We're absolutely head-over-heels in love with the all-new Ford GT. It looks staggeringly good whether it is in blue or silver or the red white and blue. While the street car certainly has captured our attention, a lot of folks are focusing more on the race-prepped variant expected to take on its competition at Le Mans in 2016.

While we've seen photos of it, thanks to Ford, I don't believe I recall seeing it getting a track-day shakedown. Well, my friends, that day has come.

Clearly not a street car — listen to how this GT clears its throat — this beast is going to be one helluva sight as it puts its opponents in the crosshairs. While first year racing efforts tend to have a lot of difficulty working their way around the tarmac, we're crossing our fingers that Ford can repeat history as it did in the original GT40.

We'd love to see this car take the checkered flag.

Until it lines up on the grid though we're going to have to settle for some spy video of the car doing some developmental testing around Sebring. Scope out the Blue Oval's beast, below!
