There are certain vehicles that attain cult-like status. One of those would be the vintage Ford Bronco, the Porsche 911 (993) and, to me, one of the most baffling of them all: the Jeep Wagoneer.
And the people that love them, worship them.
Perhaps it's because I am not a truck guy, perhaps it's because the Wagoneer is a bit before my time. I just don't get it. Can anyone explain the lovefest over the Wagoneer? To me, it's a bit too similar to Clark Griswold's family truckster. OK, I digress.
Agent 001 stumbled across a helluva find for any Wagoneerphile. Based in SoCal — Santa Barbara, to be more specific — is a 1989 Jeep Wagoneer going for nearly $28,000. While that price may raise eyebrows at first, you have to see the condition of this 142,000 mile vehicle.
It is pretty much mint from what I can tell.
What say YOU, Spies? Is this super clean Wagoneer a GREAT find or a horrible investment for some goober?
