Although the ball has yet to drop in New York City's Time Square, we are well aware that the rest of folks on this beautiful rock have started to ring in 2016 in a big way. January 1 typically yields a significant spike in drunk driving deaths according to the latest emerging datasets compiled by both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

So whether you're having a glass of bubbly tonight or will be walking, be alert and aware of your surroundings. Be safe out there, Spies!
